I’ve spent about 5 hours of the past two days in that little corner trying to keep garland from falling down. Command strips are useless.😏Tonight I succumbed to a hammer and nail and I’m pretty pleased with myself. Now if only I could take photos half as good as @carrie_radford I could actually show you. But it’s dark and I don’t have a camera here and honestly I feel like I deserve to just look at it and enjoy it all by myself for a night. 😂🤣 I’m officially in the holiday spirit around here and have my Christmas candle from @bolt27bylynettewright burning, home alone playing on the projector, and drinking some apple cider that's really just apple juice I made from my juicer and put it on the tea kettle. #winningatnotbeingagrinch 🎅🏼🧡🎄photo: @carrie_radford

CALLING ALL MY SUPER DIY/DECOR PALS!! .
I have a confession...I haven’t put up one single item of Christmas decor in the casa😬😬😬. I’m real big on waiting until after Thanksgiving(my fav holiday) before I start getting in the holiday spirit. (I know, I know, call me the grinch). Since Thanksgiving, my house has been booked for bnb or photoshoots every weekend / I’ve been a busy little 🐝 bopping around to different parties and events + going out of town. However, I’m now ready for the casa to feel Christmas cozy and need some help...what are the EASIEST ways you decorate your house for the holidays? (Note: I will be going out of town for Christmas week and the wonderful @ameliasflowertruck and her family will be celebrating here...no pressure on making sure it looks cute and cheerful for them.😉 Also, by easy I mean, really easy...like amazon prime + 10 minutes max kinda easy). 🎄🎅🏼#HELPDECORATETHECASA

Hi! It’s me, Katie. I started this little account a year and a half ago as a creative outlet + market my @airbnb (that is also my house - confusing I know) + my marketing company uses it to test things on social media before we try them on our clients accounts (even weirder, I know). Sometimes I’m super active with sharing posts and updates of the house, design, my favorite home goods, and of course insider local tips about Nashville! (And another times I might only post 2x a month)🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m beyond awkward during photoshoots (hence why there are very few photos of me on here) but occasionally I’ll post one and share a bit of what’s going on at the casa. I’m currently thinking about 2019 goals and some different ways we can use the house and this account to make the hustle and bustle of life a little more fun and ensure I’m getting to flex my creative muscles. I never want this account to be anything other than creative and fun and could give a 💩 about followers and engagement. 😬 I do want to work with more brands and small businesses in collaborative ways. (If you have any ideas or know brands that loves to do collaborative, creative things - feel free to share). Also, in general I would love to follow some more inspirational design/home goods/makers accounts...if there are some you love, please comment below or DM me.
